Attachment is the core of human experience, and when it is ruptured, our entire sense of safety is at risk

Online therapy

Convenient mental health counseling available from the comfort of your home, anywhere in the state of Maine.

“I believe that all learning is relational. Teachers who try to teach without first having created a positive relationship with their students may only be wasting much of their great knowledge. Establish an encouraging relationship with a child, and you can teach him or her almost anything. Establish a strong therapeutic alliance with your client, and he or she might even be willing to build new neuronal pathways that indicate that trust, love, and unconditional worth are possible for him or her too.”

individual therapy

  • We provide a safe, confidential space to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, work through difficult experiences, and develop healthy coping strategies. Using a trauma-informed, authentic, and attachment-based approach, I tailor each session to meet the client’s unique needs and goals. As LGBTQIA+ allies, we create an inclusive and affirming environment where all clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to build resilience, enhance self-awareness, and improve overall well-being.

  • Individual therapy sessions are 60 minutes, providing ample time to explore concerns, develop coping strategies, and work toward personal growth in a supportive, collaborative environment.

  • We offer private pay sessions tailored to individual needs, with rates based on the provider—Danielle's rate is $125 per session, and Katie's rate is $90 per session. Additionally, Katie offers a sliding scale for those who cannot afford private pay—please speak with Katie directly to discuss this option. Danielle also accepts a variety of insurance plans to make therapy more accessible and convenient for clients.

Clinical Supervision

  • In addition to therapy services, Danielle offers clinical supervision for newly licensed counselors and social workers working toward licensure. Her supervision is rooted in a trauma-informed, Adlerian approach that emphasizes authenticity and a supportive, collaborative environment. Danielle helps supervisees grow in their clinical skills, develop their professional identity, and build confidence. She fosters open communication, self-reflection, and a deeper understanding of client dynamics to empower new clinicians to provide compassionate, effective care while embracing their authentic selves.

  • Individual supervision sessions are held weekly for 60 minutes, providing a consistent and supportive space for professional growth, skill development, and self-reflection.

  • Clinical supervision is offered at a reduced rate of $75 per hour to support the growth of skilled counselors while acknowledging the financial limitations of those early in their careers.

mainecare credentialing

  • MaineCare credentialing includes gathering your documents, submitting your application through the MES portal, and tracking its status. I handle the process for you—start to finish—so you can focus on your clients.

  • Credentialing typically takes 30 to 90 days from submission, depending on MaineCare processing times and document completeness.

  • A one-time flat fee of $300 is due upon starting the credentialing process. This fee reflects the complexity and time-intensive nature of MaineCare enrollment, including document preparation, MES portal submission, and ongoing follow-up support through approval.
